Recordings, text and photographs: Bernard Lortat-Jacob. The recordings were made in Sardinia in 1979, 1980 and 1985 during fieldwork sponsored by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. The song texts have been drawn up or checked by MariaManca, with the exception of the texts of band 4 to 7 which have been transcribed and traslated into italian by Martino Corimbi with the help of Vincenzo Gallus
