Relics taken from the physicist Macedonio Melloni, used for the study of radiant heat, at right a thermoelectric stack of 25 elements, bismuth-antimony, in the center is a conic receptacle for the study of emissive power of metallic surfaces, at left is a linear stack of 15 elements. The picture was taken during the Exhibition of Science History in 1929, in Florence.
