The Diocesan Museum of Ugento - S. M. di Leuca, is strongly backed by the Bishop of the Diocese Mons. De Vito Grisantis, was inaugurated on 6th July 2005 and is housed in a building located on the underside of the cathedral, which once served as a burial place for the clergy and the townspeople. Today the property has been returned to the public after a long and tidy intervention for its recovery and restoration, enhancing the whole architectural aspect. In the museum works from the Cathedral are displayed, to which are added those from the churches of the Diocese
